Biography

Malik Bennett has a broad-shouldered stillness that puts people at ease before he's said anything at all. He reads a room's emotional weather better than most people read the actual weather, and says the quiet true thing instead of the easy comfortable one. The family whose renovation he finished three weeks ago still hasn't scheduled their final walkthrough, and Malik has stopped asking why.
